Title: Good Day For It
Author: meekosan
Fandom: Stargate SG1, with guest appearance by Dr. Rodney McKay and Colonel John Sheppard of Atlantis
Character(s): Walter Harriman
Word Count: 470
Disclaimer: SG and characters are not mine. Never was mine. If they were, I'd have fought like hell to keep the franchise alive.
Summary: Written for stargateland theme week prompt, 24- SG1, Walter Harriman, having a good day.

All in all Master Sergeant Harriman was getting off to a good start. He woke up from a full night of restful sleep, feeling more refreshed than before. When he went to take a shower, the plumbing didn't give him a hard time and was even able to finish washing himself before the hot water gave out.

You can complete the prompts using either writing or graphics. You can mix and match your shows and your media type (FYI ~ you are not limited to the show represented by your team in this or any stargateland challenge unless we're doing some sort of special theme) but they should all be stargate-related somehow. Crossovers and AU are also fine.

Completion of a square should contain one of the following:
- 100 words drabble
- 150 words meta (discussion or essay, not fiction)
- 2 icons
- 1 gif
- 1 banner or LJ header
- 6 image mini-picspam
- 10 second video (with audio or video altered in some way)

You may always do more than the minimum.

I did all mini-picspams...Collapse )

Title: Heatwave
Pairing: John Sheppard/Elsa Gutierrez (OFC)
Word Count: 1600
Disclaimer: I only own Elsa. I don't own all the other characters. I wish I did. We'd have a lot of fun. :(
Summary: Prompted by my friend Nat with: Elsa & Rodney stuck in the infirmary together. Here's what I came up with...

It was a long hot day in Atlantis and it seemed that the central cooling system was down from being overloaded. While the scientists and techs worked to replace the generators, the rest of the city was forced to endure the heat. Well, most of them anyway.
The small section of the city that the infirmary was in operated on its own generator and luckily, since it had a much less demand for power, it hadn't given out. And lucky for Doctor Gutierrez, she was on a double shift so she had the pleasure of basking in the comfortable air for at least the next 24 hours. She hoped by then all would be fixed otherwise she would be camping out at the far end of the pier were her and John have their own little hideaway.
